You’ll see tatoos (armadillos), boa constrictors, mango snakes, iguanas, manicous, sally painters, agoutis and squirrels in large enclosures within native forest. Look out for trees such as mahogany, bay, royal palm, mango and silk cotton, as well as numerous butterflies including the splendid morpho and owl butterflies. You may be lucky enough to spot one of the forest’s resident black hawks as well as hummingbirds, woodpeckers and manakins.
