You’ll see tatoos (armadillos), boa constrictors, mango snakes, iguanas, manicous, sally painters, agoutis and squirrels in large enclosures within native forest. Look out for trees such as mahogany, bay, royal palm, mango and silk cotton, as well as numerous butterflies including the splendid morpho and owl butterflies. You may be lucky enough to spot one of the forest’s resident black hawks as well as hummingbirds, woodpeckers and manakins.

You’ll also meet our friendly caiman, Cillian, who wandered into our large pond a few years ago and has stayed ever since to enjoy a daily fish supper. If you’re quiet you might just spot one or two baby caiman as well, sunbathing amongst the lillies and the fish.
