Corbin Forest Walk

Take a guided walk through Corbin’s Forest, where every step is an adventure! You’ll explore towering trees, spot colourful butterflies and listen for the calls of birds like black hawks and blue-backed manakins. Unlike on our enclosures tour, where you’re guaranteed to see local wildlife up close, the forest is full of surprises. That means every walk is different and part of the fun is seeing what shows up.

Bird Hide Rental

Rent our secluded, elevated bird hide for a peaceful, up-close encounter with Tobago’s birdlife. Perched above a tranquil pond, this hide offers a 180° unobstructed view with benches to sit or lie down as you relax and observe.

Depending on the season, you might see up to 150 birds from more than 25 species, along with agoutis, squirrels and colourful sally painters. Perfect for bird lovers, photographers, or anyone who wants to fully immerse in the sounds and sights of the forest.

Bird & Butterfly Experience

At 8:30 a.m., Ian, co-founder of Corbin Local Wildlife, sets out fresh fruit for the animals. From our elevated bird hide with a sweeping 180° forest view, watch as birds and animals arrive right on schedule for their breakfast. Depending on the season, you might see up to 150 birds from more than 25 species, along with agoutis, squirrels and colourful sally painters.

Afterwards, enjoy a gentle guided walk through our fruiting forest, planted to attract an array of butterflies and other pollinators. So far, we’ve recorded over 80 butterfly species — who knows what you might spot next?

This five-hour hike begins at Corbin Local Wildlife, then ventures far beyond the trails — deep into Tobago’s lush forest. Led by Roy, co-founder of Corbin and expert bush guide, you’ll discover native plants and you may spot wildlife. Every hike is different and part of the fun is seeing what shows up. 

Good fitness and proper walking gear are essential. Perfect for nature lovers, adventurers and anyone ready to explore the forest like few ever do.

We welcome schools, clubs, and community groups for bespoke guided tours that are both fun and educational. Whether you’re a class of curious students or a nature-loving group, we’ll tailor the experience to suit your needs.

Your visit can include any of our existing tour packages — like the Animal Enclosures Tour — or we can work with you to create a custom experience based on your group’s interests. You’ll also have access to our school room — a space to store backpacks, take a break and dive deeper into wildlife learning. We offer parking facilities for cars, vans and buses. On-site washroom facilities are also available
