Ian Wright is an artist, environmentalist and landscape architect, he has developed environmental projects in Ireland and Africa.
With over 30 years of experience in forestry and conservation in Ireland, he presently works as a consultant at Corbin Local Wildlife Park in Tobago.
In 2002, Ian established The Irish Natural Forestry Foundation (now called the Green Economy Foundation). The foundation included an education centre and acted as a campaigning organisation to influence forestry policy and build relationships with community partners.
Since establishing the foundation, Ian has worked in conjunction with Greenbelt and private landowners to plant over 1.5 million trees in Ireland. He has lectured, campaigned and published articles addressing forestry issues from an environmental perspective.
Alongside this, Ian has worked with private clients to plant for biodiversity, and design and create lakes and wetland habitats.
